Internal diam. 20.7m N-S, 19.5m E-W. A subcircular area enclosed by a largely destroyed stone wall. The interior is uneven with evidence of cultivation. Rock outcrop was incorporated in the cashel wall. The site is located on a knoll of limestone in an area of rough pasture with much rock outcrop.
