What is recorded here

Internal diam. 20.7m N-S, 19.5m E-W. A subcircular area enclosed by a largely destroyed stone wall. The interior is uneven with evidence of cultivation. Rock outcrop was incorporated in the cashel wall. The site is located on a knoll of limestone in an area of rough pasture with much rock outcrop. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
