What is recorded here

This site consists of two areas. The western is a rock outcrop that appears to have been used for burning. However, the discolouration may be natural weathering and no significant archaeological remains are apparent. The eastern area has a small charcoal kiln or bowl furnace, possibly with associated stakeholes forming an oven-like structure. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien. Date of upload: 22 September 2008

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
