What is recorded here
A corn-drying kiln was excavated (Licence no. 04E0680) in advance of development. The kiln (4.2m x 1.2m) was curved in plan and was truncated by a post medieval ditch. A calibrated radiocarbon date of 1020-1200 AD was returned from the fill of the kiln (Carroll et al. 2008, 123).
