Castle (remains of), Stephenstown is a ruined tower house in County Dublin, Ireland. Its square foundations and one low wall still mark the place where a burnt castle once stood. The stones sit on a shaded slope beside a stream, waiting for someone to imagine the lives lost inside them.

Located on a NW-facing slope under pasture at a low point in the landscape near a stream. The remains of a square building (ext. dims.9m NW-SE; 7m SW-NE) survive as foundations except in the south-west where there is a 3-4 course section of wall (H 1m). It is built of randomly coursed masonry which is well mortared. There are no dateable architectural features present (Healy 1975, 17). This is probably the building referred to in the Civil survey (1654-6) as a 'burnt castle' held by Elizabeth Finglas (Simington 1945, 6).
