Killeen Burial Ground occupies a south-facing pasture slope in County Cork, Ireland. An irregular dry stone wall, eighty centimetres high, encloses fifty metres of undulating ground where faint markers may still break the grass. The arrangement suggests people once chose this warm edge for death, then stepped back and let the field reclaim them.
