No shrine, no chamber, no named dead. Only a buried child or children, a discarded field, and a mound of rubble where the margin of the world once ended.

A portal dolmen; likely dates to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. Its significance lies in representing a rare surviving example of a megalithic tomb in the West Cork region, associated with early ceremonial or burial practices.
