In pasture, on S-facing slope. Roughly D-shaped area (c. 55m NNE-SSW; projecting c. 25m to ESE) enclosed by linear stone-built field fence (H 1.25m) on WNW side; defined by flow of water, and overgrowth NNE->SSW. Interior uneven, overgrown and sloping downhill to SSW; S half raised somewhat to compensate for hillslope; fulacht fiadh (11050) takes up most of E side; heap of stones and boulders to S of fulacht fiadh. Remainder of interior overgrown and uneven. Scattering of small boulders in S half may be remains of 'about 8 small headstones from 6 ins - 11 ins in height [which] mark the sites of graves' (Bowman 1934, 226). Field in which site occurs called 'Pairc na Cille' (ibid.). Holy well (14006) on perimeter to S. Levelled circular enclosure (13579) adjoins E perimeter of site.
