Fermoyle Bridge

Single-arch road bridge over Fermoyle River, built c. 1820. Rubble limestone walls with carved limestone copings. Cut limestone string courses above segmental arch having voussoirs with prominent keystones.

This bridge is notable for its carved limestone copings and string courses which add textural variation juxtaposed against the rubble stone walls. It forms a technically interesting structure over the Fermoyle River.
