Segmental-headed window openings to facade with stone sills and timber sash windows to first floor and timber fixed and casement windows to ground floor and to gable. Timber panelled door to house. Timber shopfront with fluted pilasters, console brackets and fascia with raised lettering and with timber and glazed door with display window to one side. The building was thatched until 1926. Stone and concrete outbuildings to north and east.
Dolan's is a pleasant example of vernacular town architecture, which contributes to the character of the street. Its modest proportions, which are enhanced by details including contrasting pebbledash and smooth render, timber windows and pubfront makes this building a notable addition to the streetscape. This building had a thatched roof until 1926. An early-twentieth century photograph shows six-over-six sliding sash windows with the present integral arch shown with a round-headed arch ( Information supplied by owner J.J. Dolan, photograph in owner's possession).
