Terraced three-bay two-storey house with dormer attic, built c.1800, having central gabled bay to front (west). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack, overhanging timber clad eaves course, cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Timber bargeboards to gabled bay. Rendered walls, having red brick pilasters on tooled limestone plinths to ground floor surmounted by single-course red brick elliptical arched arcade style string course. Red-brick string course below first floor sill level. Square-headed window openings with tooled stone sills throughout, having red brick block-and-start surrounds and red brick voussoirs to first floor. Six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows throughout. Oculus window opening to central gable apex having replacement timber casement window. Round-headed door opening within timber doorcase comprising engaged Doric columns on tooled stone plinths, fluted reveals and architrave. Timber panelled door surmounted by spoked fanlight. Recent balustraded boundary wall to front.

This handsomely designed and well proportioned house, located at the end of a terrace of three is an eye catching feature of the streetscape. The terrace makes a distinctive architectural statement with its unusual design elements including red brick arcade style string courses and pilasters. The fine doorcases, timber sliding sash windows and timber panelled doors are among the many surviving original features.
