Islay, Ballynaughton

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Islay, Ballynaughton as Chambered Cairn (neolithic), Coin Hoard (mid 15th Century) - (mid 16th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn with a later 15th–16th century coin hoard; the site reflects both prehistoric funerary practices and medieval economic activity in the area.
