Inveraray Castle Estate, Garron Bridge, was part of the holdings of the Campbell family, Earls and later Dukes of Argyll, from the 15th century onward. The bridge and estate are historically significant as they are associated with the influential Clan Campbell and the development of the Inveraray Castle estate over several centuries.
