In pasture, located on a low rise overlooked by rising ground to S–SW.
Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure, and on the 1916 as a circular hachured enclosure (diam. 30m) incorporated into field boundaries at SE–NW. Also recorded in an aerial photograph (SMR file: GSI M 645-4; Roll 218, pr. 9). This enclosure was levelled during land reclamation; there is no visible trace at ground level. There is a ringfort (MA082-018----) 155m to N and an enclosure (MA082-039----) 95m to S.
