Indicated is a fairy fort in County Kilkenny, Ireland, holding a roughly circular grassy space behind a low earthen bank and shallow outer ditch. Farmers later cut part of its south edge for a road and filled a trench inside to raise the bank, yet the place still keeps its shape beside a small stream. It may have been a home, a boundary marker or a feeding ground for visible and hidden neighbours.

In rolling cultivated grassland on the gently sloping E side of a small stream valley. A roughly circular area (34m E-W; c. 38m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.5m; int. H c. 1m; ext. H c. 1.2m) and an external fosse (Wth c. 3m; D 0.2-0.3m). The bank has been heightened in modern times by the fill of a slight trench around the perimeter of the interior.
