On a shelf of a gentle S-facing slope and c. 20m SW of Ryefield House. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30m) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-1.5m). The perimeter at W has been quarried, and a field bank circumscribes the monument NW-N.
