Indicated (1838).

In rough pasture on a natural rise with a fall of ground to the stream at SE. This possible rath is indicated as an embanked circular area (diam. c. 40m) on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. The rath is levelled but visible as a roughly circular area (c. 27m N-S; 26m E-W) defined W-NW by gentle undulation, NNW-NNE by the slope of a natural rise and NE-ESE by the remnants of a scarp (H 0.6m) cut into the natural slope. A band of brambles appears to mark the S limits and may be related to a linear cropmark (Wth c. 2m) of long grass, rushes and gorse which extends W from the SW edge of the possible rath. This cropmark is probably a levelled field fence that skirted the possible rath. The interior is fairly level but it has an uneven surface, broken by shallow hollows and low hummocks.
