What is recorded here

indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Oakport Demesne, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular overgrown area twenty-five to twenty-six metres across on flat dry ground near the south shore of triangular Laundry Lough. The site remains unplanted within a coniferous forest and is defined by a scarp rising zero point two to zero point eight metres, with no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
On flat dry ground c. 40m from the S shore of the triangular Laundry Lough (dims c. 500m E-W; c. 250m N-S). Circular overgrown area (diam. 25-26m) which remains unplanted in a coniferous forest defined by a scarp (H 0.2-0.8m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
