What is recorded here
Marked as a circular wooded enclosure (diam. c. 55m) on the 1837 and 1928 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of a NW-facing slope. Described in 1981 as a drystone wall curving E-S-W (diam. c. 40m) but outside it was a stone spread (C 25m; max. Wth 2.7m) S-W (SMR file). It appears to have been a landscape feature, and cannot now be seen at ground level apart from some straight sections of a field bank curving NE-S-W (dim. c. 50m NE-SW).
