What is recorded here

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Not marked on 1840 OS 6-inch map but shown as arc of field fence NE->S enclosing circular area (diam. c. 30m). This section of field fence appears indistinguishable from surrounding field boundaries and does not display any features suggestive of an ancient enclosure.

Burial Ground for ChildrenChildren's burial ground · 850 yd

Explorer Tom Burial Ground for Children gave up chocolate for Lent to keep the ghosts quiet. It’s sitting next to a quarry, probably regretting not moving somewhere with better acoustics. Tell the kids it's a castle. Close enough.

Dollas HouseFarm house · 1106 yd

Explorer Tom Dollas House in Dollas Upper has a shortcut that leads nowhere but trouble. The windows are crooked, so the house must be tired of pretending it's straight. Snap one photo, then pretend you didn't see me.

Toberanearla (1924).Holy well · 1.0 mi

Explorer Tom Toberanearla in Kilmacanearla North is hiding under bushes like a shy ghost who forgot its lines. Nobody venerated it in living memory, so it’s just vibing alone. Visit, then text me what you think. I'll pretend to read it.

Kilmore HouseCountry house · 1.2 mi

Explorer Tom Kilmore House hosted a dance that went too far, leaving cobwebs of gossip in the cobbled yard. It's a Georgian gem with Victorian extensions that don't really match up well. Go now, before it gets embarrassed.

Explorer Tom European ash saw the most dramatic event when a squirrel dropped a nut on a priest’s head. It stands tall in Limerick, looking like it knows things about the past. Toast it with a cup of tea and move on to the next.
