What is recorded here
Situated on a rise in poorly-drained, undulating pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 28.7m N–S) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.3m) with an infilled external fosse (Wth 3-4.5m) and a low counterscarp bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.5m) which can be traced at SW–NW. A partially blocked-up break (Wth 2m) in bank at E represents the original entrance. Within the interior, which slopes slightly down from NW to SE, there is a Man-made underground passage (see SL017-025001-).
