Indicated is a crannog in Lough Key, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the NE angle of the triangular lake at the entrance to a bay extending 570m NE-SW and 350m NW-SE. The circular mound measures 20m across and rises 1.2m above the water. Another crannog lies 50m to the north.
At the NE angle of the triangular Lough Key, at the entrance to a bay (dims. c. 570m NE-SW; c. 350m NW-SE) which lies to the NE and c. 200m from the N shore. Circular overgrown mound (diam. 20m; 17m E-W; H 1.2m) of earth and stone. Crannog (RO003-065----) is c. 50m to the N.
