In quarry, built against natural slope. Front (H c. 7m; Wth 6.5m) N-facing; arched recess (H 1.6m; Wth 2.6m; D 2m), rear of recess collapsed. Funnel (diam. 1.85m) narrows towards base. Top of kiln enclosed by stone wall with central door ope to S (Wth 1.25m). Ramp to E.
