Steep-sided natural hillock (diam. 40m) occupying a small spur extending over the steep valley of a stream. At the N, the edge of the hillock is defined by a berm (Wth 2.5m) and a steep scarp which merges into a fosse (Wth 2m) with a low external bank (Wth 1.3-2m) at the NW, S and E. Although hachured as a ringfort on the 1838 OS 6-inch map the enclosing features may be associated with drainage of the hillock. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
