What is recorded here

Situated on the NNW-facing slope of a fairly steep hill. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 21m N-S; 21.8m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 3m; H 1m) which survives best upslope to the S and is destroyed at N. No visible trace of a fosse or entrance feature. A limekiln is located immediately SE of the bank, with a large manure dump on top of and beside the kiln. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
