What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort on a drumlin slope in County Leitrim, where an earthen bank and shallow fosse still mark a subcircular chamber about twenty-three metres wide. Its eastern entrance faces the open land, while woodland presses around the rest, making the ring feel less like a ruin and more like a room hidden beneath the hill. People may have lived there, feared it, or simply avoided wasting breath on questions it never answered.

Located towards the top of the S-facing slope of a drumlin in mixed woodland. This is a subcircular area (int. dims 26.5m N-S; 23m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m at N to 1.6m at E) W-N-E which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.9-1.3m) elsewhere, and an external fosse (Wth of top 3-4.5m; Wth of base 1.5-2m; D 0.4m) which is curtailed by field banks NW-N-SE.
