Indicated

In rough rocky hill pasture, on the S-facing slopes of Knockantooreen. The remains of linear and curvilinear stone walls (T 0.6m; H 0.65m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog throughout a roughly rectangular area (c. 360m E-W; c. 170m N-S). Rubble from the collapsed upper courses is scattered beside the walls and embedded in bog. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
