Indicated is a broken fairy fort on a Mayo ridge, its shallow bank hidden beneath brambles and crossed by modern fences. The site still faces a nearby stream, preserving the old advantage of watching the water while occupying elevated ground. People may have lived there before field works cut through the circle, but the earth now resists clear memory.

In pasture, located at the NW end of a low NW–SE ridge, utilising the break of slope at W–N. Views are good, especially to W–NW towards a stream which is 40m to NW. A private road lies immediately to W. Raised, roughly circular area (diam. c. 28-30m) defined E–SW by a low bank; at W–NE the bank has been levelled to a low curving undulation. The bank (Wth c. 3m at SW; int. H c. 0.1m; ext. H 2m at SW, 1.2m at ESE) retains a slight internal rim at E and S but is mainly reduced to a scarp. Stones protrude from the external face at SW. now largely obscured by hawthorn and brambles. The E edge of the enclosure is crossed by a field fence with parallel ditch on a NNE–SSW axis and another field fence on a roughly E−W axis, also with field ditch, cuts across the S edge.
