What is recorded here

Indicated is a 14.5m artificial island on Garadice Lough, built with timber piling and a silted causeway near Drumreilly Church. It rises 1.2m above the water, overgrown and circular, a small made land where someone chose to stand apart from the shore. The bay stretches hundreds of metres around it, and the island remains visible enough to mark the place where human hands shaped the lough into a room of their own.

Situated c. 30m from the W shore of a bay (dims c. 900m N-S; c. 200-500m E-W) on the N shore of Garadice Lough, and c. 100m E of Drumreilly Church (LE025-058001-). This is an overgrown circular and artificial island (diam. 14.5m; H 1.2m) surrounded by timber piling that is most visible along the N and NE edges.
