Explorer Tom Parkatober Fort in Farranmanagh handles nosy neighbours by hiding a secret passage underneath. It is very good at pretending not to be there. Visit, then text me what you think. I'll pretend to read it.

Man-made underground passage in FarranmanaghMan-made underground passage · 35 ydComputer-made picture

Explorer Tom Man-made underground passage in Farranmanagh would be the awkward uncle at a wedding, standing in the corner with steps leading nowhere. It’s inside a rath that’s lost its plot and its floor plan. Bring a notebook and write the bit I made up.

Explorer Tom Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception in Listry would write 'Looking for someone to share bread with' on its dating profile. It’s a 1969 build with a belfry that looks like it’s holding its breath. If it rains, blame me.

Catholic Church of the Sacred HeartChurch/chapel · 1.8 mi

Explorer Tom Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart in Milltown was designed by a Daniel O'Connell who clearly had grand plans for spires. The name is a lie; it’s actually just a very serious building. Tell it a joke, it's been a long time since anyone did.

Explorer Tom This Japanese pagoda tree in County Kerry has had more names than I’ve had jobs, and half of them are wrong. It loves gossip and hates being ignored. Tell me if the gossip I made up is true.

European Yew5.2 mi

Explorer Tom A European Yew in County Kerry hosted a dance that ended with someone stuck in the branches. The locals still whisper about the noise. A proper spot for a flask of tea and a big think.
