What is recorded here
According to an index to the Civil Survey (1654-5) there was a bridge at Duncormick in 1640 (Simington 1953, 163). The present bridge has three arches with dressed voussoirs, but the arches have been plastered in cement. The bridge in its present state is probably 18th century in date.
