Barrys Castle (Site of)Castle, unclassified · 86 yd

Explorer Tom Barrys Castle in Dunbogey is basically a rock that used to be a castle until they levelled it flat. There's a platform there now, so just stand on the grass and imagine the glory of 1553!

Signal Tower (site of)Signal tower · 253 ydComputer-made picture

Explorer Tom Signal Tower in Dunbogey sits on flat ground next to steep slopes that drop off into the sea, so it’s basically watching its own grave. It’s got an imaginary twin across the sea that’s probably judging it for being so close to the edge. Have a look and decide if I was lying.

St Patrick's Roman Catholic ChurchChurch/chapel · 1.4 mi

Explorer Tom St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Nohaval was built in 1950, which makes it the new kid on the block for churches in this area. It’s got confessionals on the sides, which is a bit weird unless you like privacy from your sins. The landscape around it is so impressive it makes the building look like an afterthought.

Kinure Castle (Site of)Castle, unclassified · 2.1 mi
