At the bottom of a gentle SE-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. There is a triangular enclosure or annexe (dims 20m NE-SW; 20m NW-SE) defined by scarps (H 0.5-0.7m) attached to the perimeter of rath (RO036-010001-) SE-SW.
