The fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Doonaltan is in County Sligo, Ireland. The slightly raised circular area sits on a low north-south ridge in pasture and contains an uneven rectangular depression near its southwest bank. A narrow southern break aligns with an adjoining field bank, while several other gaps obscure the original entrance.

Situated on a low N-S ridge in pasture. Slightly raised circular area (21m N-S; 19.5m E-W) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth. 2.3m; H 0.4m). No fosse. There are a number of breaks in the bank but the original entrance is not recognisable. The internal ground level is uneven. Within the SW quadrant, close to the internal face of the bank, is a rectangular depression which may mark the site of a hut or house site (SL012-003005-). There is a narrow break in the bank at S (Wth. 1.4m) at the point where a field bank (SL012-003002-) abutts the site. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 19 January 2011
