What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Derrylow, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the crest of a south-facing drumlin slope as a circular grass area measuring thirty point zero to thirty-two point five metres across. A gapped earthen bank surrounds most of the circle, while an outer fosse cuts across the eastern edge. No entrance remains visible, and the site stayed unplanted when forestry appeared nearby.

On the crest of the S-facing slope of a small drumlin. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32.5m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.5-3.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.9m) WSW-N-SE which is reduced to a scarp (H 1-1.5m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth 1.8m; D 0.2m) at E. There is no visible entrance. It remains unplanted in forestry (Bing c. 2013).
