In pasture. Indicated as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 57m N-S; c. 44m E-W) on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map, with a townland boundary running NE-SW along the SE edge. Another townland boundary curves from S to W near the SW edge (c. 5m away). On the 1900 revision and 25-inch OS map the enclosure is indicated as being more D-shaped (dims. c. 48m N-S; c. 43m E-W), the E side being straight (L c. 38m).
