Situated at the crest of a S-facing slope on a NE-SW ridge leading to Creadan Head. The cropmark of an E-W fieldbank with drains on either side is visible on aerial photographs (ACAP V165/65-6), but a field bank was extant on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map.
