Situated in the bed of the river, adjacent to St Dabnet's chapel (CV026-022001-). Deep oval-shaped hole (dims. 0.22m x 0.18m) which according to local tradition was formed by a horse's hoof (local information). One of the stations of the pilgrimage of St Dabnet.

Linked to St Dabnet, the site is associated with early Christian pilgrimage traditions in the region. Local folklore suggests the hoof-shaped hollow was made by the saint's horse during a journey or act of divine intervention.
