Marked as a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 45m E-W; c. 35m N-S) with a straight side at N and with a lane outside the perimeter SW-W only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a level landscape c. 2km NW from the River Shannon, it is not visible at ground level in pasture.
