Situated on a natural rise in undulating countryside. Roughly circular area (diam 35m) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank reduced in places to a scarp with no enclosing element at N. No evidence of an external fosse or entrance feature. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
