What is recorded here

Marked faintly as a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in tillage on a N-facing slope c. 150m from the S bank of the estuary of the E-W Glenaudda stream that empties into the Back Strand at Tramore. This is a circular area (diam. c. 40m) visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (MM (61) 2-5), but it is not visible at ground level.
