Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

Located on top of a broad hill. Overgrown circular area (diam. 26m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at WNW: Wth 5m; int. and ext. H 1.8m) which is destroyed N-E, with slight traces of an external fosse (Wth 5m) ESE-SSW. There is no visible entrance, and spoil has been added to the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
