What is recorded here

Indicated was a circular earthen fort on a southern slope in County Cork, visible on maps until machinery erased it around 1982. Local memory claims a hidden passage still lies beneath the pasture, waiting for someone brave enough to dig. The land swallowed its own history in a single season, leaving no stone, ridge or marker behind. What remains is a absent shape, remembered only through the story people chose to believe.

In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Hachured as circular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842). Levelled c. 1982; no surface trace. According to local information interior enclosed by earthen bank; possible Man-made underground passage (CO132-012002-) in interior.
