What is recorded here
On a SSE-facing slope in pasture. A large subcircular area (81.9m E–W; 77.2m N–S) enclosed by a wide low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.6m; H 0.1-0.8m), which has been almost completely denuded to the internal ground level due to cattle-trampling, and a wide, deep, partially waterlogged intervening fosse (Wth 3.6-4.2m; D 0.3-1.2m). From S–W–NNE a much-degraded, low outer bank, has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. The fosse has been infilled and the outer bank has beenlevelled from SE–SSE–S. The original entrance is not recognisable. To the N of the centre of the interior are two quarry holes.
