What is recorded here

Indicated is a crannog in Clooncullaan (roscommon By., Cregga Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears as a ten-metre island in the small Drinaun lake on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. The lake has since reduced to a twenty-metre pond on a flat low-lying landscape where no monument remains visible at ground level.
Marked as an island (diam. c. 10m) in the small Drinaun lake (max. dims c. 250m E-W; c. 120m N-S) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. The lake has is reduced to a small pond (diam. c. 20m).
