The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Rectangular area (ext. dims. c. 90m E-W, c. 80m N-S) divided into three rectangular enclosures, which are slightly higher than surrounding land, by wide fosses. Two sites are of almost equal size (dims. c. 48m E-W, c. 25m N-S) while the third (partially obliterated by road) occupies E half of enclosed area. Stream along S of site. Masonry feature (dims. 9m E-W, 10m N-S) - perhaps an entrance gateway - built across fosse at W side of NW enclosure.
