What is recorded here

Indicated is a 41-metre ringfort on a Galway grassland slope, its twin earth banks and central ditch still tracing a circle though a later field wall has swallowed the eastern edge. The western gap hints at a causeway, suggesting people once crossed that threshold deliberately rather than stumbling through brush. It remains a fairy fort in name and shape, inviting imagination about who lived there before records began.

On a NE-facing slope in grassland. Roughly circular ringfort (D 41.2m), in fair condition, defined by two banks of earth and stone and an intervening fosse. The outer bank and fosse do not survive at E, and the inner bank is overlain by a field wall in this sector. There is an entrance gap with possible causeway at W.
