Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowkeel (roscommon By., Elphin Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a subcircular grass-covered area towards the bottom of a steep NNE-facing slope on an E-W ridge. An earthen bank defines the perimeter and incorporates into a field bank at the north-east, though no fosse or entrance remains visible. Another rath lies approximately 190 metres to the south-east.
Towards the bottom of the steep NNE-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Subcircular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 28m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-4.5m; int. H 0.3m at W to 1m at SE; ext. H 0.2m at W to 1m at SE) ENE-S-NW which is incorporated into a field bank N-NE. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Rath (RO017-122001-) is c. 190m to the SE.
