In tillage, on a gentle ESE-facing slope. Depicted on 1840 OS 6-inch map as sub-rectangular area (dims.) within angle of field boundary. No visible surface trace to W of field boundary. Arc of bank (int. H 0.25; ext. H 0.25m; Wth 3.8m) on the exterior of the field boundary enclosing it NNE-SSW. Drop (D c. 0.25m) between surviving bank and exterior of field boundary.
