What is recorded here

Indicated is a low earthen ringfort in a Cork pasture, its shallow rim barely breaking the grass on a north-west slope. People may have lived inside that small circle, watching weather arrive from the sea while animals grazed beyond the broken line. The fort has given up most of its shape, but the land still holds the memory of a boundary drawn in soil.
