Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballyglass (tireragh By., Kilglass Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a low rise in level pasture and contains a twenty-five-metre circular area enclosed by a wide earthen bank. A shallow external fosse surrounds the bank, while a large modern break at the east marks the possible original entrance. A possible structure also adjoins the inner northern face of the bank.
Situated on a low rise in level pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 25m) enclosed by a wide, earthen bank (Wth 6.5m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 2m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth. 4m; ext. D 0.4m). Original entrance may have been at E where there is now a large modern break (Wth 6m). Adjacent to the inner face of the bank at N is a possible structure (SL017-027002-). Compiled by: Patrick F.
